When we was out walking some
days ago, we ran into a cute little
Phalene puppy-boy, named Chico. We
liked the little guy so much that
we invited him ( and his mom of
course ) over to our house to play with us.
We think it's so much fun to get
to know some new doggie-friends,
especially someone of "our own
kind". Chico is "our kind", the only
"problem is ... his ears are
"mounted the "wrong direction", so Onyx
thought that his hearing maybe was
not of the best, so he thought had to
speak very loud to him to make him
listen ... :-) Little Chico was a little
"overwhelmed" by Onyx loud talk in
the beginning, but understood quickly
that Onyx speaks loud to make sure
everybody listen what he has to say ...
and after that, he didn't bother
at all and chased him like a crazy all over
the house ! As you can see
from the photo ... we all three got completely
exhausted ... We was both
quite amazed by the little naughty guy's
"nerves of steel" ... cause
who else than a little puppy would dare to crawl
up with two adult boys who's
taking a nap on their absolute favorite place in the house ???
But honestly ... we was both too tired to care at this point,
and in the other hand ... we both
like little Chico too much :-)
Chico is only 11 weeks, so he's a
baby, but we had a lot of
fun together this afternoon, and
we both look forward to see our new
friend again ! |

We had such beautiful weather
this Saturday, so we decided to invite
mom and Emil ( our human brother )
for a walk in the forest this evening.
The forest is located by "our"
lake ( Nordbytjernet ) and we LOVE to go for a walk here, and
we do it often !

August already ... and
autumn is just around the corner ... We had
so much rain the past weeks ... (
boring, boring ) but this afternoon we
finally was blessed with a little
sunshine on our walk ! We took mom for
a long nice walk, to make to sure
to take full advantage of this lovely
afternoon ... Dad is now back home
from his US/Route 66 trip, so our
"pack" is now finally gathered
again, and everything is
back to normal :-)
Dad had a perfect holiday in
US, he even went for a helicopter ride over
Grand Canyon ( !!! ) it was new
impressions from early morning to late
night every day ... Still he
missed us a lot ( of course ), and he was so
happy to be back home with us
after 17 days.
And so was we, the "Home Alone
Gang" :-) |

Here we are, the "Home Alone Gang"
:-) We just came home from
a lovely walk around "our" lake. Mom gave
us a bath, who was needed,
but not very fun ... We thought we
should say "thank you" by crawling up
on her lap for a cozy nap and to "dry up"
on her ... and before she even
got time to think about finding the brush
and start the grooming ! You
know ... we are two smart paps, we have a mom
who can't resist us, she
fall for our tricks all the time :-) |

Early this morning daddy left for
his "Historic Route 66" holiday with
his friends, they're going to drive a
motorcycle ( Harley Davidson ) from
Los Angeles to Chicago. A true "adventure" from start to end, with tons of
fun and impressions
from day one. Daddy left only a few hours ago, but we
already MISS him so
much ! We will stay home with mom, take care of the
the "safety"
around here, keep mom company and make sure she won't get
"bored" ... and
of course ... wait for daddy to come back safely to us, so can
have the
"pack" gathered again ! :-) Dive safely daddy, we love you
and
wish you the best holiday ever ! |

Today we went to visit
"grandma" to help her with her computer ...
She lives about 1 1/2 hours drive
from us, and Onyx "forgot" to do his private business before
we went, he told me loudly that he "had to go"
after a while ... We stopped
for a quick walk near by a river on our way, so
they boys could
"take care of business" ! I got my self some fresh air, and
we went to
visit "grandma" after ... She was of course happy to see us
all,
and we eat "waffles", fixed the computer,
and "the boys kept "grandma"
busy with playing for a long time. They both slept nicely in the backseat
of the car
when we went back home :-) |

This evening we arranged a "double-date"
with our girlfriends, Ronja
& Mia. We went to pick them up,
then we drove
off to one of our favorite
places ... ( a lake near by Ronja
& Mia's home ) and went for a lovely
afternoon
walk. We meet some other dogs who we stopped and "talked"
with,
but most of all we enjoyed each other. :-) Onyx & Mia
both love to
play in the water, so they had
their "water-play" while Rambo & Ronja watched their
"childish" play ... ( !!! ) We stopped for a "snack" in
Ronja &
Mia's garden before we turned our
heads back home ... and we both
"signed off" after a fun
evening with our girlfriends. ZzzZzzzZzZ ! |

A LOVELY EVENING BY "OUR" LAKE ...
As usual, we went off for our daily
evening walk. The weather was so nice, and Rambo decided to
"take" us to the lake near by our little hometown.
Rambo is the one who mostly
decides where we're going to walk ... He
don't like to walk the same
"route" every day, he wants' "new impressions",
and today the lake was his choice. As you can see, the choice
was no less
than perfect, Rambo and Onyx both loved
the walk and sat down to enjoy
the "view" by the lake
for a few minutes, before we started on our way
back home again. A perfect ending
of a summer day ! |

RAMBO'S 7th. BIRTHDAY !
Ahhh, I can't believe that Rambo
now already is 7 years "young" ...
Time flies so fast, and to me it
seems like "yesterday" I was captured
forever by his lovely personality
...
I love you darling, to me you will always be my "baby" :-)

4 PAPILLONS RUNNING WILD AT THE
GOLF COURT !

several times a week.
A super "date" includes a long nice walk

THE FIRST SUNBATH IN THE HOSTA-BED
...
Ahh, the spring is so LOVELY, we
don't get wet and cold when laying
down outside ... the snow in front
of the house finally has melted away
and we can use mom's
Hosta-bed in front of the house for lazy sunbaths
( until the Hosta's starts growing ) ...
The sun is shining, it's nice and warm,
we quickly "slip" into the "sleepy-mode"... what
more can a Papillon
wish for ...? :-) LIFE is GOOD !!! |

HURRAY, FINALLY SPRING IS HERE !
This was such a lovely and sunny
day ... Still a little bit cold, but who
cares, when you actually can
"smell" the spring in the air ?
Mom told us to get into the car, and
we drove off to a place not far from us, and went out for a long walk
in the forest ... :-)
It's so nice to feel the warmth
from the sun in our face ... ! |

BEST FRIENDS ... FOREVER !

CSI ... We don't think CSI is
interesting at all, we rather watch one of the
dog-shows at Animal Planet :-) So
when mom is watching her "boring"
TV-show ... we prefer to "take

4 DIRTY, BUT HAPPY PAPILLONS
This is how dirty we can look
after a fun walk in one of our favorite places
to go for a walk. The place is
near Ronja & Mia's home, and usually we meet many other dogs
we can "sniff" and play with.

The last thing we do before
bedtime, is to take a final "property check"
and to take care of our "private
business" before bedtime :-)
It's late, it's dark, it's cold,
but still we are "on duty" ! Rambo is "marking
the territory, while Onyx is doing
some "final investigations" before they
"sign off" for the evening ...
they work as a "team" !!! :-) |

A LOVELY SUNDAY ...
Our winter has been "weird" this
year ... but even if it's been weird,
it's also been nice ! The boys & I
enjoyed a long and nice walk this
sunny Sunday ... and they was both
hungry and tired when we got back
home. And so was I ... :-)
So we eat a little and then we all "crashed"
on the sofa for a cozy
nap ! Can you imagine anything better than a nap
under a soft blanket on the sofa,
with 2 tired Papillons, both laying so close to you, that it's
not even room for a thought between you ? :-) |
